450 Watts Solar Panel Mono

Description

Monocrystalline Solar Panel

Our best-value panel, the one we fit in our complete solar systems

The 450 Watts Solar Panel Mono is the panel we install on most Mercury solar systems, and at ₦95,000 it is the one we recommend when you want the sun to carry your home through the day and leave the battery full for the night. It is a monocrystalline PERC half-cut panel, which means less power lost to shading and heat than a standard full-cell panel, and more output from the same roof area. It is supplied by Mercury Direct, the brand owner for Mercury inverters and batteries in Nigeria, with MC4 leads already fitted and ready to connect.

How many 450W panels do you need?

These are the exact arrays we fit on our complete solar systems, so you can match them panel for panel.

8 panels = 3.6kW, suits Mercury 4.5kVA16 panels = 7.2kW, suits Mercury 6.5kVA20 panels = 9kW, suits Mercury 11kVA4 panels = 1.8kW, small shop or lighting load

The final count depends on the PV voltage and current limits of your inverter. Send us your inverter model and we will confirm the right number and the string layout before you buy.

Panel only, or fully installed

This price is for the panel itself, delivered to you. If you already have an installer, the panels come with MC4 leads ready to connect. If you would rather we handle everything, our technicians can mount, wire and commission the array for you; we tell you what is involved and what it costs before anything starts. Proper installation reduces the risk of damage, so for a complete new setup the simplest route is one of our complete solar systems, where the panels, inverter, battery, cables and installation are all included in one price.

450 Watts Solar Panel Mono FAQ

Is this the same panel used in your complete solar systems?Yes. The 450W mono panel is the panel we fit on our 4.5kVA, 6.5kVA and 11kVA complete solar systems, so you can buy extra panels to expand an existing Mercury system.

Will it work with my existing inverter?Yes, as long as your inverter has a solar charge controller, MPPT or PWM, and the panel voltage sits inside its input range. Send us the inverter model and we will confirm the string layout.

How much power will one 450W panel make per day?In Nigeria, a well-placed panel typically produces about 4 to 5 peak sun hours a day, so one 450W panel gives roughly 1.8 to 2.2kWh per day in good weather.

Does the price include installation? No. The price is for the panel, delivered. Installation is quoted separately once we know your roof and inverter, or it is included when you buy one of our complete solar systems.

Do you deliver outside Lagos?Yes. Delivery in Lagos is same-day in most cases. Outside Lagos, delivery is prepaid and typically arrives within 48 hours.
